The Nigeria Police Force has declared three individuals Eguasa Osaro Godwin, Joana Eyibo, and Jacob Imafidon wanted in connection with an ongoing investigation involving alleged unlawful activities and escape from lawful custody.
According to police sources, Joana Eyibo and Jacob Imafidon were apprehended on 16 October 2025 during a law enforcement operation while allegedly engaged in an unlawful act involving same-sex affairs. The suspects reportedly escaped during the incident, prompting further investigation by the authorities.

Police records indicate that both suspects were identified and apprehended at the time but later escaped before formal detention procedures were concluded. The incident was documented in official police files.
In light of the recurrence of the alleged offences and the repeated escape from custody, the Nigeria Police Force has reopened the case and formally declared Eguasa Osaro Godwin, Joana Eyibo, and Jacob Imafidon* wanted.
The police have appealed to members of the public with useful information regarding the whereabouts of the suspects to report to the nearest police station or any appropriate law enforcement authority. The Force assured that all information provided will be treated with strict confidentiality.
